Had an “old school” beard trim by Khun Tong (78 years old). Great experience with no burning feel after the throat shaving and nice talk with this wonderful couple. Loved it and will definitively be back.

Had a very good cut for 200 Baht at this little place. Down an alley and one shop before the end on your left - see image. I just told him to clean up and one inch off. Was very careful and did a great job thinning out the sides - to stop the mad scientist look lol. I will go again here when in Bangkok.

Needed a quick fix for a wedding and was a bit anxious, but this guy was next level precise. He didn’t even uncomb me to cut where he needed to fix my haircut and cleaned up well so I didn’t feel the urge to go shower right away. It’s a small place in an alley. The husband and wife were there and only take cash. I paid $200 Thai Bhat ~$7usd. There was an ATM across the street.

Mr. Tong, the barber here, is absolutely terrific! I think this place flies under the radar, because it’s in a tiny, alleyway, off of busy Sukhumvit. I have been coming here for several years. I always get a fabulous haircut, and there’s never any wait ( maybe there will be, after this review 😊 ). It’s located on soi 8, directly off Sukhumvit. About 30m in, make an immediate right. All of 20m., on the left, you will see the barber 💈 pole. It’s next to a massage shop, so you will see the ladies sitting outside. 200 baht, and an exceptional haircut!

“Shave and a haircut, two bits!” As they use to say back in the day in America. Mr. Tong tells me he’s been cutting hair for 60 years. I guess that makes him an expert. I just needed a little cleanup and of all the barbers in Bangkok, I’m glad I chose him. I was greeted by his pleasant wife when I arrived. The experience did not disappoint! Old time barber vibes.
