Just finished 1 hr foot massage before this at another popular foot massage shop across the street with my friend. She added another hour of body massage and therefore I went off, thinking to do a pedicure but it was fully booked. Saw the gd reviews for this shop and thought to give it a try just for fun. Shop is small and was quite warm. Likely cos the aircon was blocked by the curtains (for ppl doing body massage). Air was cooler after the curtains were drawn back. Lady who washed my feet is different from the one massaging. I had to ask my masseuse to use more strength. It was only mid afternoon and not even at night. Experience was not as relaxing as my earlier session at the other shop, which was also bit cheaper than here.

Not wonderful. Small place. Was told that there would be a wait. Thought the reviews are good and we would come back later. However the experience that came with the wait wasn't good. Massage wasn't good. Ambience less than ideal. No tea. Luckily only took one hour foot. Ask for more pressure, count till 20, pressure gone again. Such soft strokes and masseur not attentive. Time wasted. Will not go again.

It was amazing massage. But CHEATING FOREIGNERS, I ordered two massages via messages: one neck-head-back massage for 300 baht and oil massage for my husband for 500 baht, but they made oil massage for both of us without even asking our opinion. I don’t know if they did it on purpose to charge us more. But I was surprised when we had to pay 1000 baht instead of 800. They didn’t say sorry, no apology, just said “I thought you want an oil massage too”. What do you mean you “thought”? I sent a message with the exact two different types of massage… this ruined my mood in the end. Make sure you clarify the type of massage you want to receive . In my neighborhood where I live far from tourist oil massage is 300 baht. After this behavior I don’t feel like coming back. Reply after owner’s response: yes, my husband ordered an oil massage , but I ordered a head-neck-back massage. During payment I pointed to my husband and said “oil massage for him, head-neck-back massage for me”. I see you can’t admit the mistake and I am just more sure that you are scammers. I added the screenshot where we booked two different massages but you charged us 1000 baht as for TWO oil massages. Shame on you.

I’m here visiting Bangkok for a few days. Our tour guide recommended Sam Yan since it’s across the street from the hotel I’m staying at. My wife made me join her for a foot massage. I’m glad I joined her. It was much more than just a foot massage. Legs, hands, shoulders and neck too. I would visit again if I was here longer but I recommend that you visit if you’re reading this. The street traffic and sirens are noisy sometimes but it’s not too bad.

This is a no-frills massage parlor next to a busy road, so do not expect a totally quiet and relaxing environment like the other more expensive chain establishments. However, you get a great massage for a fraction of the price compared to the more pricey places. I visited twice during my stay here and was not disappointed. The masseurs are very professional and really do their best to provide a great massage session. You'll leave feeling refreshed and relaxed, knowing that you're helping to support the livelihoods of this small local business. Remember to tip well!
