I have visited Let’s Relax Spa several times over the years, but my recent experience at the Berkeley Hotel branch left me disappointed. I booked a 90-minute massage while my two children waited for me in the lounge area. As the mango sticky rice dessert is included as part of the package, my children asked if they could have it earlier while waiting. After finishing their portion, they politely asked for some extra mango. The staff provided it without mentioning that there would be an additional charge. To my surprise, when I completed my massage and was about to leave, I was informed that I had to pay an extra 70 baht for the mango. The amount itself is not significant, but the issue is the lack of transparency. If the extra mango was chargeable, the staff should have informed my children beforehand and given them the option to decline. Good customer service is about clear communication, especially when dealing with children. What could have been a pleasant experience ended on a disappointing note over a small charge that could easily have been avoided with better communication. Unfortunately, this experience has left a negative impression of an otherwise reputable spa brand.
