Great overall experience. Everyone was super friendly when I walked in which immediately put me at ease. Got a haircut, beard trim and straight razor shave which I highly recommend.

Great haircut experience at Great Time Barber in Bangkok. The shop sits at Tree on 3 on Rama 3 and from the moment you walk in you feel that this is a place where people enjoy their craft. The atmosphere feels friendly and welcoming, and you get treated like a guest rather than just another customer passing through. Bella is easily the cutest hairdresser in the world and also incredibly skilled. She has that spark that lifts the whole room and puts a smile on your face the moment you sit in the chair. Beauty and smart thinking mix very well here. She listens to what you want, looks at your hair and beard, and then shapes everything in a way that suits your face perfectly. I went for a haircut and beard trim and the result was excellent. Sharp lines, great shaping, and a finish that looked fresh straight away. On top of that she gave an amazing facial massage which turned the visit into a full grooming session rather than just a haircut. Great Time Barber offers a full range of services. Haircuts with shampoo and styling, beard trims and shaping, head shaving, relaxing head massage, facial massage, hot and cold towel treatment, scalp treatments, and grooming services that leave you walking out feeling refreshed. One thing worth saying. If you happen to see any negative review floating around online, take it with a grain of salt. The person behind it appears to be someone who used an app connected to services Bella never applied for and does not offer. That situation had nothing to do with the actual shop or the services provided there. If you are in Bangkok and want a barber who combines skill, hospitality, and a great personality, Great Time Barber is a fantastic spot. Bella will make sure you leave looking sharp and smiling.

I had a less than ideal transaction here. I did research and she seemed like a great choice so I searched the web for a way to make an appointment with her. I came on something called "FunNow" where I could book an appointment and get a good deal. I did and payed for it. Showed up for my appointment at 2:30 and she informed me she doesn't use "FunNow" and I can not get a haircut until 5:00. I reluctantly agreed but was feeling a bit put out by the process so far. I show back up at 5:00 and she took me in after waiting a few minutes. I showed her a picture of exactly the haircut I wanted and she looked at it briefly a couple times and said no problem. I wanted my beard to be somewhat thin near my sideburns filling into a full thick beard around my chin and mustache. Apparently, she did not pay much attention to the picture I had shown her and proceeded to cut my entire beard very short. As soon as she started cutting into the part I didn't want cut, I stopped her but she had already cut too far in...I was shocked! It takes a while to grow a beard and most people care what they look like so I was very surprised she did that...I sat with it the rest of the haircut because I felt partially responsible for not making sure she understood what I wanted. All that being said, I was very disappointed with the beard cut, and the fact that she charged me more than what was advertised on the apps I already paid for did not offer any of the perks that were on both "GoWabi" and FunNow" but the haircut was pretty good. If you go see her, I STRONGLY suggest you make 100% sure she understands what you want because otherwise, you will get whatever she happens to be thinking when she is cutting. Also, don't use that FunNow app to book and don't expect to get anything she advertises for free such as nose hair wax, face massage or head massage without paying an extra 500-1,500 baht. Another barber is probably a better option if you are particular about your hair.

I had a beard trim/shave and head massage with Bella. The head massage was super relaxing and she shaved me effortlessly (which not everyone can do). Easy recommend.

Great time barber is definitely a gem, that isn't hidden. I arrive in Thailand and needed a scalp and beard shave. I didn't have an appointment, but she managed to get me in the chair. Her experience was warm and welcoming. It didn't feel rushed, and the price was definitely reasonable. I was blown away at how comfortable she makes you feel in the chair, especially with a razor to my throat. 🤣. If your lucky her mom will greet you with a beautiful smile and offer you a bottled water while you're waiting. Definitely, make it to this establishment, but do make an appointment or you might be disappointed. ✌🏾
