Amazing haircut, very friendly and professional. And the price was great. Only 500 baht for cut, shampoo and styling. I paid half price compared to other places. Super happy.

Of the two salons near Somerset Park Hotel Suanplu, the DB recovery hotel, I visited ZigZag as the second salon to get a simple wash and dry. I had heard some negative comments verbally from others staying at the hotel, including mentions of cockroaches and a snappy dog onsite, so I wanted to visit myself and leave a first-hand review. I personally encountered no issues like that during my visit. I did question why the service list on the door said a wash and dry was 180 THB, but I was told that price was for men’s hair, and as mine is a bob, it would be 300 THB. This was still cheaper than the other salon I visited nearby. The washing stations are set up so you are almost horizontal, with no stretching needed to reach the basin, which is helpful if you are recovering from surgery. Unlike the other salon, they did not place an extra layer of protection around my shoulders, so I did end up with a very damp shirt at the back. The stylist did try to blow dry it along with my hair, and thankfully, being Thailand, it dried quickly enough anyway. She also gave me some back support when I was getting up from the lying position, which I appreciated. The main stylist had enough English that I could understand her without needing a translator app. The others in the salon did not speak much English, although they were not involved in my service. The dog I had heard about did not give me any concerns at all. Another lady I spoke to afterwards said the dog had sat peacefully on her lap throughout her treatment, so experiences may vary. Overall, I was happy with the wash and dry service I received and would return if I was ever back in the area.

We were recommended this hairdressers from group chat and Facebook. My daughter and I went on seperate occasions and we absolutely loved the friendly staff and lovely service. When we visit Thailand we will definitely go there again. I loved my braided hair it was just beautiful. Thank you staff.

Absolutely fine for a wash & dry, but on my 2nd visit I got it dyed and it was so bad that I had to get it fixed a week later when I got home. The colour didn't hold on the grey, and the rest of it was very patchy.

I went in today and had a wash, blow dry and extensions put in. I am a hairdresser myself and found them to be very accommodating to everything I asked for. My stylist was very sweet and patient with me. Would highly recommend any one to go. One happy Aussie
